I believe in my hometown Tustin. I was born in Orange County, raised right here in Tustin. I earned my Eagle Scout badge in a Tustin scout troop. I graduated from Tustin High School and Chapman University, earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I started my business and family right here. I am a proud Tustin homeowner. I have the business know-how and knowledge to be an excellent Tustin City Council member. And as a “hometown boy” my commitment is to make Tustin the best town it can possibly be to raise families. Join me in my vision of a Tustin community with safe neighborhoods, excellent education, supportive civic leadership, and strong business and volunteer organizations. Issues
Public Safety
  • We must work hard to retain recent cuts in Tustin's crime rate.
  • Public safety means promoting emergency preparedness, not just crime. I support the efforts of our police department in involving the community as we protect our streets.

Protecting Taxpayers
  • I will be a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility
  • We need a more accessible and transparent budget process that citizens can understand!

Tustin's Schools
  • As a Tustin High history teacher and advisor to the Award-winning Tustin High MUN Program I am committed to excellence in education
  • Our City and School District must place STUDENTS NEEDS first! The lawsuits and infighting must be stopped for the good of our students and our tax dollars.

City Government and Business
  • We need a level playing-field for all businesses and residents
  • I believe in creating a positive, supportive and business friendly environment for all of Tustin
  • Our Old Town and Legacy areas have tremendous untapped opportunity for growth

Community Vision
  • Our community needs to work together for the best future for all.
  • Rudeness towards citizens is unacceptable at City Council meetings. I will show others respect listen to all views.
  • We need the concerted energies of ALL of our citizens and enterprises, from school parents to organizations for the arts, youth sports, historical societies, service clubs, faith groups and all other supportive community groups pulling together to move our community forward to the brighter future we envision!

Leadership
  • Now, more than ever, we need leaders with integrity, honesty, high values and personal ethics. I promise to be just such a leader. Government should not only be transparent, it should be accessible. Open and respectful communication between our local government and the people they serve will be my priority.
